FemTouch is a new laser treatment developed to relieve symptoms caused by vaginal atrophy. It uses a technology called carbon dioxide fractional laser. By irradiating the carbon dioxide laser in tiny dots, the epidermis is evaporated, and the heat energy generated around it causes thermal denaturation deep into the dermis, shrinking collagen tissue. FemTouch reconstructs tissue at the irradiated area and activates fibroblast and collagen production, and about one month after irradiation, a thick, vascular vaginal mucosa is formed.
