This procedure involves cutting the skin covering the inner corner of the eye, known as the Mongolian fold, to create larger, sharper looking eyes. The incision scar is only a few millimeters in size, so it is not very noticeable.
If your eyes appear to be far apart, epicanthoplasty can bring the eyes closer to the center line of the face, making them appear more balanced.
On the other hand, if the eyes appear to be close together, outer corner incision will move the eyes outward from the center line of the face, making them appear more balanced.
Both inner and outer corner of the eye incisions increase the area of the eye, giving the impression of a smaller face.

These types of problems can sometimes be resolved by incision at the inner or outer corner of the eye. As shown in the illustration below, if the length of the inner and outer corners of the eyes from the center of the face is uniform at 1:1:1, it will look balanced.

From treatment until expected effect
The effects of treatment can begin to appear as early as one month after starting treatment, but on average, you will be able to clearly see the effects of treatment after three to four months.
The surgery will of course require anesthesia, and you will also be prescribed painkillers and anti-inflammatory medication.
